Amazon launches aStore (Beta, of course)

From their description:

aStore by Amazon is a new Associates product that gives you the power to create a professional online store, in minutes and without the need for programming skills, that can be embedded within or linked to from your website. I threw up a quick test here.

Not bad. It was very easy to setup, and looks pretty good.

If you have an Amazon account you can find it in the associates central.

That’s not all the news from Amazon lately though – they also have this new link-type called Omakase:

Omakase combines flexible display options with links that automatically feature products that visitors to the page are most likely to buy based on what the Associate has been successful with in the past, what that user has been interested in, and the content of the site. Omakase – leave it up to us! Here’s how my Omakase banner looked like when I tested it:
